What is liability coverage?
Liability coverage is required and covers damage you cause to the building or another resident's property. Contents coverage covers your own belongings. A parent's homeowners’ policy may already include it. You can buy a policy from any insurer you choose. You can buy your own policy. If you don't, we may buy one for you and add the premium to your rent.
